Make sure you stay in the double room esp in bathroom. The hotel is situated in the very central location next to the river. Moreover, it is close to the magnificent old town, Autun and the surrounding area and the garden in the back.

I was absolutely enamored by the charming inn I stayed at in Autun. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the gentle sound of a babbling brook that ran alongside the property, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The owners of the inn were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful, always ready to assist without being too intrusive. I particularly appreciated the small details, like the sprig of lilac in a vase in the bathroom, which added a lovely touch to the overall decoration. The entire inn was adorned with beautiful traditional French decor, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Additionally, the inn was easily accessible for senior people like myself, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
If I had to ask for one improvement during my vacation, it would be for a little more assistance from the children working at the inn. While they were generally helpful, there were certain instances where I felt they could have been a bit more attentive to the needs of senior guests.

This charming spot, located next to a little river nestled within a stunning garden, is perfect for a peaceful getaway. Communal areas are beautifully furnished, and breakfast is delicious. Rooms are comfortable, and some have fantastic views of the surrounding landscape. the thick concrete walls may impact Wi-Fi reception in certain areas, but there are plenty of other facilities to take advantage of, such as a lovely pool and patio.
It's worth noting that options for nearby activities are somewhat limited and require a bit of a drive.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, giving great suggestions on places to visit in the area. the breakfast provided was fresh and delicious. the property had beautiful gardens and a peaceful atmosphere.
The town nearby was not very interesting and didn't offer much to do or see. It might not be worth making a special trip just to visit this place.

The hotel was located in a beautiful area surrounded by nature and not too far away from the charming local town. the Christmas decorations were lovely and there was free hot chocolate available in the common area. the fire in the fireplace was also a nice touch and made the atmosphere cozy.
My overall stay was disappointing. the noise from other guests in the building kept me up at night, and the room was not very clean.

Cozy but expensive
Stayed at this B&B for a weekend city trip. The rooms were cozy and clean, with comfortable beds. The location was convenient, with easy access to some of the main attractions in the area. Loved the complimentary breakfast and the friendly staff.
The price was a bit too steep compared to other options available in the neighborhood. The food offered at the hotel was not up to the mark and didn't meet our expectations. It was overpriced and not fresh. The staff was also a bit cold and not very attentive, which was disappointing. our stay was average and we wouldn't recommend this B&B to others unless they are willing to spend a lot of money.
